HILTON IS 'REALLY FRIENDS' WITH NEW BFF

Socialite PARIS HILTON has made true her vow to stand by the winner of her new reality TV show PARIS HILTON'S MY NEW BFF (BEST FRIEND FOREVER), insisting they're "really friends".
The hotel heiress recently wrapped up the U.S. version of My New BFF, in which she chose a confidante from tens of thousands of wannabe best pals.
Earlier this year (08), Hilton took aim at critics who predicted she'll ditch the winner of the show once filming is over, claiming her search is genuine because she finds it so hard to meet new people.
And she has already proved her detractors wrong - she's started to hang out with her chosen pal and is preparing the mystery winner for life in the spotlight.
She says, "The person who won is now my best friend. We hang out. Yeah, we're really friends.
"We've been having barbecues and hanging out at the house. The winner and I have been pretty low-key so far, because it is top secret right now.
"In my life you can get photographed at any time. You never know when paparazzi are going to be hiding around the corner. So my friend needs to be paparazzi-ready."
The MTV series is due to begin airing in America on 30 September (08).
