HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL A FLOP IN OZ

The Australian stage production of HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL has proved such a flop, it's closing a month early.
The touring musical will close on 25 January (09), four weeks early - and just five weeks after it first opened
Producers are so desperate to cut their losses on the show, they have slashed the price of all remaining tickets to a third of their original face value.
Co-producer Kevin Jackson tells Daily Variety, "The last few months have been a difficult time for all families, so it's not surprising family entertainment, including large-scale musicals such as ours, are experiencing a drop in sales."
