CHARLTON HESTON - HESTON SUED BY NEIGHBOURS

Oscar....
CHARLTON HESTON is being sued by his neighbours, who claim their luxury home was damaged in 2005 as a result of the Hollywood legend's land negligence.
JEROME and FLORA HEILWEIL allege "slope failure" on Heston's southern Californian property caused substantial damage when heavy rain sent hillside debris crashing into their home.
They are seeking $1.2 million (GBP615,000) in damages.
Heston's attorney JEFF BRIGGS says the actor only owns 10 per cent of the hillside, while the Heilweils own the rest.
He says, "It's their hillside."
The PLANET OF THE APES star has lived in the Mulholland Drive property since 1959, reports the New York Daily News.
