ANNE HATHAWAY - HATHAWAY'S PARENTS WARNED HER ABOUT EX

ANNE HATHAWAY allegedly split from lover RAFFAELLO FOLLIERI after her parents urged her to dump him.
The Devil Wears Prada star reportedly separated from the Italian businessman earlier this month (Jun08), shortly before he was arrested on suspicion of fraud.
According to the New York Daily News, it was Hathaway's father, Gerard, who advised her to call it off with Follieri and move out of the couple's Olympic Towers apartment in the Big Apple.
A source tells the newspaper, "Her father's not stupid. He and Anne's mother always had their suspicions about Raffaello."
Follieri has since been charged with a dozen counts of federal wire fraud conspiracy and money laundering, amid reports it was Hathaway herself who outed him to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
Another insider adds: "She left the country right before the feds arrested him. But she may have had some regrets about helping them (the FBI). The night before his arrest, she had a tearful phone conversation with him."
Follieri, 29, is currently behind bars until he can post $21 million (GBP10.5 million) bail.
A status hearing for Follieri has been set for 9 July (08).
