HATHAWAY: 'THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH NUDITY'
Screen beauty ANNE HATHAWAY has vowed to carry on baring all in movies, despite her strict Catholic upbringing. The actress, who once considered becoming a nun, made her name in 2001 family hit THE PRINCESS DIARIES. Since then however, she's raised eyebrows with a string of raunchy roles including a topless scene in BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN and further nudity in latest film HAVOC. She says, "I grew up studying classic painters. They certainly didn't shy away from nudes. I don't find anything morally reprehensible about it. "I think it is different to pose in a pair of hotpants on the cover of Stuff magazine. That's something I'm just not interested in doing."

Poor Anne, a film she made when she must have only been about 21 a film that
was the only Flop of her career, and has been out on DVD for over a Year, one I
am sure she had thought she had seen the last of, was this weekend release in
cinimas here in the UK. Even though the DVD was not available in UK shops,
anyone who wanted could, and still can get a copy on the internet. Is it
possible that the Producers of Havoc, are still well out of pocket, and decided
after Anne's LATEST film which has been, and still is a huge success, would try
to cash in and reduce their loss. This is hardly likely as all the explicit
scenes have been available on the internet for some time. The storyline is
pathetic and in some ways a bigger fantasy than Ella, However releasing this
just four months before Anne's new film Becomming Jane, could have serious
consequences, hopefully it will be as big a flop in the UK as it was in the US
and will soon be forgotten. The producers of Havoc seem to have little regard
for Anne or her new film, but of course BJ has a British Director and British
funding, so I doubt if they would be concerned.
What a pity whoever posts comments on Anne's site forgets what has been said
before. When Anne's latest film was first shown at a film festival,in a review
posted shortly afterwards the reviewer stated " and the shocker came when Anne
revealed her breasts" but this totally unnecessary topless scene has been
deleated before the film went on general release, and surprise surprise seems
to have done far better that Anne ever expected, even without the help of her
more visual assets. It was reported that Anne was to appear in Knocked up,a
film based on pregancy, the result of a one night stand, which dose suggest it
would require a fairly expict sex scene. However Anne had the good sense to
walk away, had she appeared nude in four films just possibly directors might
consider the public had seen all she had to offer, something which has happened
to quite a few young actresses in the past, nudity has ruined more careers than
it has made. Perhaps Anne has put this part of her career behind, and from now
on will rely on the exceptional Talent she is lucky enough to have been
given.
