ANNE HATHAWAY - HATHAWAY DUMPS FOLLIERI?

Actress ANNE HATHAWAY has reportedly dumped her longterm boyfriend RAFFAELLO FOLLIERI.
According to Britain's Daily Mail newspaper, the Devil Wears Prada star ended her four-year romance with the Italian at the weekend (14-15Jun08) after months of controversy surrounding Follieri's business dealings.
Follieri has been caught up in various scandals over the last 12 months - most recently last week (ends13Jun08), when it was revealed the children's charity he runs was under investigation by New York authorities.
He was also arrested earlier this year (08) for passing a bad cheque and was sued by a former business partner in 2007.
Hathaway stood by her man throughout his legal troubles, but now appears to have had enough - fearing the impact it would have on her growing Hollywood career.
A source tells the publication, "It's heartbreaking for her to dump him, and she's devastated that it's come to this, but she really didn't have a choice. His scandals were hurting her reputation."

Poor Anne, she has at last been forced to accept the truth, that Follieri, was about
to compromise the career, and perhaps his interest in her right from the start was
more what she could do for him than genuine affection. Any con artist has to be
a very good actor and this guy is a accomplished con man. It dose confirm just what
a very tallented actress she is, and with all the problems in her private life she
was able to continue filming Bride Wars without it appears affecting her performance.
Perhaps Anne should talk to her Dad who has been aware for some time of a situation
that could be of considerable concern to her,as is appears that Anne unfortunatly
places he trust both in her private and proffessional life in those who are not worthy
of it. Although the problem was resolved, it was the the person responsible that
was of concern.
