DAVID HASSELHOFF - HASSELHOFF'S BOOZE LAPSE

DAVID HASSELHOFF spent a night in a detox centre in Los Angeles recently after suffering an alcohol relapse, according to reports. The actor, who spent Christmas and New Year (08) in a Hawaiian rehab clinic, slipped in his battle with booze last week (07Feb08) and checked into L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he was held overnight. A friend tells the National Enquirer, "He comes in drunk and sick. The staff get him cleaned up and feeling right again and then he's gone. "David must be going through some kind of rehab record." The same magazine reported that Hasselhoff had visited Cedars-Sinai twice in just 48 hours in December (07) after drinking binges.
