DAVID HASSELHOFF - HASSELHOFF STRUGGLES IN WOMEN'S CLOTHING

DAVID HASSELHOFF demanded even more money for his upcoming appearance in stage show THE PRODUCERS, when he realised he would have to wear a dress. The former BAYWATCH star will play cross-dressing ROGER DiBRIS in the Las Vegas production of the popular musical - but Hasselhoff insists he's not too hot in a frock. He says, "As soon as I put on the dress, I said, 'I need more money.' "I look like the Chrysler Building." But Hasselhoff admits it didn't take much for producer MEL BROOKS to convince him to accept the part. He says, "I have the funniest role in the show. "This version of The Producers is perfect for Vegas. It's funny, campy."
