HARRY VOICES SUPPORT FOR WORLD AIDS DAY
BLONDIE frontwoman DEBORAH HARRY is lending her support to an AIDS charity - by donating the proceeds from her latest single. The singer has vowed to give the profits from downloads of her new track Two Times Blue to the San Francisco AIDS Foundation as part of World AIDS Day on 1 December (07). In a statement, she says, "In honour of this year's World AIDS Day, I am excited to be working with a wonderful organisation, San Francisco AIDS Foundation, to bring attention to the fight against HIV AIDS. "No matter what your contribution is, it means a lot. Thank you in advance for contributing to this important cause." The single can be downloaded from Gay.com and Planetout.com. The proceeds from the download sale will go to charity until 1 December (07).
