CALVIN HARRIS - HARRIS HITS OUT AT HIS RECORD LABEL
Scottish dance star CALVIN HARRIS has branded his record label "lazy" because it failed to give his album a wider release in Europe.
The singer, who was performing at British event Bestival on Friday (07Sept07), has enjoyed huge success in the U.K. with his debut record I Invented Disco - but he is annoyed SonyBMG has not released the record elsewhere in Europe.
The 23-year-old says, "The album is out in Australia and doing amazing in Japan, but I could quite as easily rant about SonyBMG in Europe at this point.
"There is no point in touring there because the record isn't out in Europe. It's getting played on the radio over there but nobody can buy it.
"From where I'm sitting it's laziness on a grand scale."
