GIRLS ALOUD - HARDING: BRITNEY'S LOST IT

Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding has claimed Britney Spears has "lost it", after the Baby One More Time hitmaker lost custody of her two children.

Talking to New! magazine ahead of the release of new Girls Aloud single Call the Shots, Harding said Britney was thrust into the spotlight at far too young an age.

She said: "I don't mean this in a horrible way but I feel like Britney has lost it a bit. I feel sorry for her. I just feel she doesn't have the right people around her."

She added: "She's got issues. She's had too much too young."

However the 25-year-old blonde, who was selected to join Girls Aloud on ITV1 talent show Popstars: The Rivals when she was just 20 - said living a 'normal' life before finding fame means she won't go down the same rocky road as Britney.

"I won't end up like her. I managed to live my life before I got in the band and I still live my life. I'm lucky."

Sarah - currently sporting a bizarre blonde bob - also took the brave step of incurring the wrath of Victoria Beckham, labelling the Spice Girl's fashion sense over-the-top.

"I think Victoria's style is a bit too much sometimes," she said. "I think it's nice to be a bit more casual. But at the end of the day, it's what she's known for."
