HARD-FI RECRUIT CHINESE DRUMMERS

British rockers HARD-FI have recruited several Shanghai drummers to join them onstage for a performance in China later this month (Jan08). Concertgoers at The Smirnoff Experience will hear the band fuse their hits with the musical stylings of a local troupe of percussionists. Frontman Richard Archer says, "China has always been a place we have wanted to visit, and to work with musicians from there is a real thrill. "Also, as dance music is continually a large influence on what we do, we are really excited to be playing this event." Other acts lined up to perform at the Shanghai Sculpture Space on 26 January are Grammy nominee DJ Sasha and Tom Middleton.
