MADONNA - HARD CANDY GIVES MADONNA UK CHART DOUBLE

Madonna is celebrating a UK music chart double after her latest album Hard Candy went straight to number one.
The 49-year-old is also still at the top of the singles chart with Justin Timberlake collaboration 4 Minutes, which clung to first place for the third week running.
Hard Candy, Madonna's 11th studio album, beat off competition from British hip-hop act Portishead, whose first album for ten years Third debuted at number two.
Last week's number one, The Age of the Understatement from the Last Shadow Puppets fell to four, while Rockferry by Duffy rose one to three and Sam Sparro's self-titled effort entered at five.
In the singles chart Sam Sparro is still at number two with Black and Gold, followed by Wiley's Wearing My Rolex and Love in This Club from Usher and Young Jeezy.
