HAIM BLAMES ADDICTION ON ABUSE

Eighties child star COREY HAIM has blamed his addiction to alcohol on being sexually abused as a child.
Haim and Corey Feldman both admitted they had been molested by different men when they were just 14 on a recent episode of their U.S. reality TV show Two Coreys.
And Haim - who claims he has been sober for 10 months - says the abuse led him to a battle with alcohol and has accused Feldman of failing to support him.
He says, "(Feldman) said to me, 'I'll always have your back.' But he knew there was a rape issue going on with me for about two years, and what did he do about it? Nothing."
But Feldman says Haim is playing the "blame game" and refuses to speak to him until he sobers up.
He tells People.com, "As a friend and somebody that cares deeply about the guy, I'm not going to watch him destroy himself.
"I think that he needs to demonise somebody. As a 14-year-old, how could I be responsible for actions that happened between him and another person?"

Honestly, I think that the two Coreys need to grow up and realize that they're almost 40. The Lost Boys: The Tribe was a truly bad movie. I feel dumber for having watched it. In watching the Two Coreys, I can see that Haim was up with worry most of the ni ght and needed to relax. He did it to himself. Had he read the script before hand, he could have made an educated decision to obstain from the project. As far as Feldman feeling vindicated because he was a child of 14 when Haim was raped, wasn't he emancipated within a year of that showing that he could and would take care of himself and that he was responsible for his actions? The fact that Haim called Feldman out on still being friends with the person that did this to him speaks volumes. Haim still calls Feldman kid. Neither of you are kids, children teens. You're adults. Start acting like adults. Start taking adult roles, understand that you're not the teen heart-throbs. Feldman, the job you did in Lost Boys: The Tribe was embarassing. I felt sorry for you. This was a straight to video deal. This could have been so much more but the script sucked. It's like you watched Lost Boys and decided that 20 years later Edgar wouldn't have grown or matured whatsoever and played it the exact same way. The writer was a talentless hack that seems to think that if he took the original script and stuck it into a blender he could pass it off. Last, I'm not sure what any of you thought about the original score from the first film, but that was a teen favorite whem the movie came out. Everyone wanted the album. The next best thing to compare it against was the soundtrack for The Crow. Great soundtrack. No investment in a worthy soundtrack for the film and in fact Cry little sister was reworked with a cover band. Pathetic. Start taking your careers seriously and understand that it's time to start taking roles where you're playing characters your own age. Perhaps in LA where everyone's getting work done here and there, there's a Peter Pan syndrome where nobody there grows up. It's long overdue for that to change. Respectfully, GeovanniLuciano
