HAGMAN'S EARTHQUAKE SURGERY

Former DALLAS star LARRY HAGMAN couldn't have picked a worse time to go under the knife for a little nip and tuck - an earthquake hit Los Angeles during his surgery. The actor, who plays a patient on the new series of plastic surgery drama NIP/TUCK, admits he once had a cosmetic enhancement for real. He recalls, "After JR (EWING) was shot I gained a little weight and I started getting a second chin, so my wife said, 'Why don't you take it off?' so I went to the doctor's. "As they were doing it and just starting to work... they said, 'We're gonna give you some twilight.' "I started to go out and the room started to shake and rattle and roll and I said, 'Boy, this stuff is great, where do I get this on the street?' They said, 'Mr Hagman, we're having an earthquake.'"
