GUITARIST LEAVES IRON FIRE TO FOLLOW JAZZ PATH

Cult rockers IRON FIRE have parted ways with guitarist JOHAN JACOB - after the musician decided he'd rather play jazz than heavy metal. Jacob now plans to leave the band's homeland of Denmark to study jazz abroad, reports website Blabbermouth.net. In a statement, Iron Fire says: "J.J.'s passion for jazz has over the years grown bigger than for good old heavy metal and he now wants to give that full attention. "We all understand his decision (although we hate jazz) and wish him all the best of luck in the future."
