FANTASTIC FOUR - GRUFFUDD FEARED REJECTION OVER NAME
FANTASTIC FOUR star IOAN GRUFFUDD was so worried he would be rejected by Hollywood directors, he considered changing his name. The actor revealed agents encouraged him to change his name to 'John' in fear his traditional Welsh name would prevent him from landing film roles, but he refused. He says, "They told me that I was going to be pigeon-holed as a Welsh actor and would only get Welsh roles. "I don't what to work with those people if that's how narrow-minded they're going to be. I am proud of who I am."
