MARK WEBBER - GRITTY LOVE STORY WINS PRAISE AT SOUTH BY SOUTHWEST

First-time director MARK WEBBER's EXPLICIT ILLS claimed the South by Southwest Film Festival's Audience Award and Cinematography prizes on Saturday (15Mar08). The hard-hitting drug-fuelled love story stars Paul Dano and Rosario Dawson. The powerful film They Killed Sister Dorothy, which traces the investigation following the murder of an American nun in Latin America, was also a double winner, claiming the SXSW festival's Audience Award and Grand Jury Award for Best Documentary. And independant movie Wellness picked up the Jury Award for Best Narrative.
