GERMAINE GREER - GREER: 'PRINCESS DI CAUSED HER OWN DEATH'
Feminist icon GERMAINE GREER has branded late British royal DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES "devious", suggesting she may have caused her own death.
The Female Eunuch author also claims the princess sexually tricked her lovers and says she was a "disturbingly neurotic" woman.
Greer says, "Her death may have resulted indirectly from (one) of her back-handed manipulations - it is said that she only went to Paris with her late lover Dodi Fayed in order to make heart surgeon Hasnat Khan jealous.
"Diana was never a fashion icon; she dressed to the same demotic standard of elegance as TV anchorwomen do, plus the inevitable hat. Diana's legacy is no more than endless column inches of adulation and speculation."
Diana was killed in a car crash in Paris on 31 August 1997.
