GREEN DAY - GREEN DAY HAVE 45 SONGS FOR NEW ALBUM

Rockers GREEN DAY are struggling for choice with their new album - they have already recorded 45 songs. The punk band are working on the follow up to 2004's smash hit American Idiot, but have no idea when the album is coming out because they have to scrap so many of the songs. Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong tells the New York Daily News, "We have a lot of music - something like 45 songs... It's total chaos. "I had some kid come up to me yesterday. He goes, 'When's your next record coming out?' And I was like, 'God, I don't know'."
