HUGH GRANT - GRANT'S NOVEL INSPIRED BY BAD BEHAVIOUR

Actor HUGH GRANT is using all of the bad parts of his personality to create the creepy main character for his upcoming novel. The NOTTING HILL star has been attempting to write a book for decades and insists it's not going to be a Hollywood memoir. He explains, "Listen, I've been trying to write that book for twenty years, literally. I'm now on page 26. "It's slow. It's not strictly speaking an autobiography. I've taken myself and I've extrapolated all my worst characteristics and created this kind of monster." Grant assured girlfriend JEMIMA KHAN the main character wasn't actually based on him when he asked her to read excerpts. He adds, "It's fiction and I explained that to my girlfriend when I read it to her. "I said, 'I just want you to know this is not me, this is me taken a thousand times worse' and even then when I read it to her, she was so disturbed, she wanted to run for the hills. It's dark."
