HUGH GRANT - GRANT JOINS FIGHT TO SAVE LONDON MUSIC HALL
British actor HUGH GRANT has given his support to a campaign to save a historic London music hall from demolition. The Notting Hill star has put his U.S. commitments on hold to return to his native England to joins other celebrities, including fellow actor Richard E. Grant, at a fundraiser to help save Wilton's, in Aldgate, East London. The 150-year-old building has fallen into disrepair and will be knocked down unless the campaign group can raise $8.6 million (GBP4.3 million) to pay for its renovation. The Wilton's Music Hall Trust is hosting a star-studded gala event on Wednesday (05Dec07) in a bid to make-up the shortfall in funds.
