HUGH GRANT - GRANT DETERMINED TO GO OUT ON TOP

Actor HUGH GRANT is determined to leave acting while he is still at the top of his game - insisting he will never overstay his welcome. The NOTTING HILL star would rather retire from acting altogether than star in sub-standard films which would cheapen his comic legacy. The 46-year-old explains, "You have to try and get out on top when, relatively speaking, you're still at the top. And once you're out, have some other things that give you self-esteem. "I'd hate to decline through worse and worse films. But if you give up while you're still doing some relatively all-right films, that has some dignity. "It's what AUDREY HEPBURN has done and I've pretty much based my entire career on her."
