GORE TO MOVE LIVE EARTH TO NYC?
LATEST: Former US Vice President AL GORE's forthcoming Live Earth gig will be moved to New York City, according to US reports.
Democrat Gore is planning a series of concerts across seven continents to raise awareness of global warming and had signed THE POLICE, KANYE WEST, FAITH HILL, BON JOVI and the RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS to perform on the steps of Washington D.C.'s Capitol Building on 7 July (07).
However, after controversy in the US Congress, where several politicians claimed the event was too left-wing to be on Capitol grounds, the event is expected to be transferred to New York.
Page Six reports Prospect Park, Randalls Island and Shea Stadium are possible sites.
