GOODREM'S MUM FURIOUS AT SMOKING ACCUSATIONS

Australian pop star DELTA GOODREM's mother is livid with celebrity blogger PEREZ HILTON - after he accused the clean-cut singer of becoming a smoker.
Hilton has championed the star, and has promised to use his influential online blog to boost the singer's career in the U.S.
But Hilton claimed one thing had left him disappointed after meeting Goodrem - the fact that she was a smoker.
He wrote about his visit to her Los Angeles home: "I went around for tea at my fave Aussie Delta Goodrem's place the other day. She is the cutest thing... she's like Miss Perfect!
"Although she does have one little flaw - she smokes and I hate cigarettes!"
But the pop star's mother and former manager Lea refutes the claims - insisting her clean-living daughter, who has battled cancer in the past, has never touched a cigarette.
She tells Australia's News.com, "Perez has got that wrong. That's never, ever been the case and likely never will be. It's just not Delta.
"She's a singer and values her voice. Some people around her smoke, but not Delta. She doesn't smoke, doesn't drink. It's just not her thing."
