CLAIRE DANES - GOOD EVENING, CLAIRE?

The Claire Danes gossip machine is in full swing.

Danes broke up with her boyfriend of two years, Billy Crudup, after an on-set romance, so rumour has it.

The object of her newfound affection is reported to be none other than British Sir Hunkalot Hugh Dancy, who played Galahad in King Arthur and the Earl of Essex in the recent television movie Elizabeth I.

Danes, who has starred in William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, Princess Mononoke and Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, got together with Dancy during shooting for Evening, in which a dying woman remembers the romance of her life.

Whether Dancy fits into that category himself is yet to be confirmed, but the rumour mill has it that the two got together one month before the split with Crudup.

With the two having been reported seen together on the streets of New York City, it seems Crudup will have to put up or shut up. Poor chap.
