GOLDFRAPP - GOLDFRAPP TO SING BOND THEME?

British electronica band GOLDFRAPP has reportedly been approached to record the theme tune for the forthcoming JAMES BOND movie. Frontwoman ALISON GOLDFRAPP and keyboardist WILL GREGORY are in talks with 007 musical director DAVID ARNOLD to compose the main track for DANIEL CRAIG's first outing as Bond in CASINO ROYALE. A source tells British newspaper Daily Mirror, "Alison and Will are absolutely thrilled. Nothing has been signed yet, but they're the hot favourites. "They're a slightly cooler choice than you'd expect, but producers are determined to make Casino Royale the edgiest Bond yet to appeal to younger people."
