NBC - GOLDEN GLOBES EXPAND AWARD SHOW PARTIES

There were seven post-Golden Globe Awards parties scheduled for last night (15JAN07) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel - two more than in previous years. For the first time, US cable network E! teamed with the Environmental Media Association for an environmentally-friendly bash, held in a former department store space next to the hotel. Paramount Pictures also hosted a party in an adjacent space, while the other five parties were spread throughout the hotel. The InStyle/Warner Bros party was staged just off the hotel lobby, while the 20th Century Fox/Fox Searchlight bash was staged at the Stardust club on the hotel's penthouse level. The NBC/Universal/Focus Films party went ahead on the rooftop of the parking garage, while movie mogul brothers HARVEY and BOB WEINSTEIN hosted their fete is at the hotel's legendary restaurant Trader Vic's. Finally, US cable network HBO took over new downstairs restaurant Circa 55 and the prime pool area.
