GLASTONBURY PROMISES TO BE THE 'GREENEST EVER' MUSIC EVENT
Organisers of this year's (07) Glastonbury music festival have vowed to make it the greenest of its kind.
The legendary event, which will take place next month (Jun07) in Somerset, England, will see festival-goers receive a wristband emblazoned with the words "We Can Stop Climate Change" as part of the I Count campaign.
Glastonbury organiser Michael Eavis insists this year's festival will have the fight against climate change at its core.
He says, "We've put a lot of effort into focusing Glastonbury on the environment and climate change this year.
"We hope to see at least 100,000 new supporters sign up to the I Count campaign - and I'll be the first to put my name down."
Plans to provide every festival-goer with a recycled toilet roll were announced earlier this year (07).
