MELISSA GILBERT - GILBERT RETURNS TO THE PRAIRIE - AS MOM

Screen Actor's Guild president MELISSA GILBERT is to revisit her LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE past - starring in a workshop of a musical version of the TV series.
The 46-year-old will play CAROLINE INGALLS, mother of LAURA INGALLS, the character she played as a 10-year-old in 1974.
Gilbert will share the stage with DIRTY DANCING heart-throb PATRICK SWAYZE, who will play husband CHARLES INGALLS in the RACHEL PORTMAN-composed piece, PRAIRIE.
The show will be presented in April (07) and closed to the public. Producers are planning to tour the show throughout the United States before settling in New York City.
