MEL GIBSON - GIBSON PLANS BACK-TO-BACK PANAMA PROJECTS

MEL GIBSON is planning a lengthy trip to Panama for back to back movie projects.
According to sources, the APOCALYPTO moviemaker is planning a remake of 1950s thriller PANIC IN THE STREETS and a new epic about Spanish explorer VASCO NUNEZ DE BALBOA, who was the first European to see the Pacific Ocean in the early part of the 16th Century.
Actor RUBEN BLADES has revealed news of the Panic In The Streets project, while Panama's resident movie hero, filmmaker JOSE SEVERINO, has opened up to local media outlets about the Balboa biopic plans.
