WU TANG CLAN - GHOSTFACE KILLAH DENIES WU-TANG SPLIT

WU-TANG CLAN member GHOSTFACE KILLAH has blamed a scheduling conflict for his absence from VH1's Hip-Hop Honours special last month (OCT06), ending speculation regarding his group's future. The rapper, born DENNIS COLES, fuelled rumours of a permanent split when he failed to appear alongside the rest of the Wu-Tang Clan at the show, but denied there was a rift between himself and other members of the band. He tells MTV, "(VH1) were supposed to do that in, like, August, and we switched our tour dates. "But come to find out, when October came, they wanted to shoot (then), you know what I mean? And I was gone. I already made commitments (overseas) and got paid half of the money to do what I had to do. It wasn't good. "They wanted me to come back, but if they sue me, what's gonna happen? I was just stuck in the middle, and that was that. I would have loved to have been there."
