LIZA MINNELLI - GEST TO JOIN ATTIC LIGHTS ONSTAGE AT V

LATEST: LIZA MINNELLI's former husband DAVID GEST is to add festival performer to his odd resume after accepting an invitation to join Scottish band ATTIC LIGHTS onstage at the upcoming V event in Britain.
The promoter-turned-reality TV star will perform before an estimated 80,000 music fans on 17 August (08).
Gest joins the group on its new single, Bring You Down, which was released on Tuesday (22Jul08).
He also appears in the band's outlandish mini-film/video which accompanies the new track.
Attic Lights frontman Kevin Sherry says, "We are thrilled to be working with David Gest. He is a true television legend and is great fun to be around.
"Our collaboration came to fruition when our manager ran into Gest on a flight to Glasgow (Scotland), and 12 hours later, we were recording his part, which he wrote in 10 minutes."
Gest is hoping to include Attic Lights on his upcoming David Gest... My Life! A Musical Concert Extravaganza tour, which will hit the road in October (08).
The tour will feature Russell Thompkins, Jr and The New Stylistics, En Vogue star Dawn Robinson, Freda Payne, Peter Andre and Shalamar, among others.
