RICKY GERVAIS - GERVAIS WANTS ARNIE

British funnyman RICKY GERVAIS has sent out invitations for ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER, MERYL STREEP, BRUCE WILLIS, DICK VAN DYKE and MICKEY ROONEY to guest star in the third season of EXTRAS. In the first two seasons of the BBC comedy, Gervais and co-writer STEPHEN MERCHANT convinced big Hollywood stars such as BEN STILLER, DAVID BOWIE and KATE WINSLET to send themselves up on the small screen. Gervais says, "People seem to like it and I think that there's some mileage in it. My wish list for guests to appear in another series is as long as your arm. "Governor Schwarzenegger has to be there." Referring to Streep, Willis, Van Dyke and Rooney, Gervais explains, "There are icons for me."
