GAYLE TOURBUS STOLEN BY FELON

A prisoner on the run has been accused of stealing country star CRYSTAL GAYLE's tourbus in Tennessee and driving it to Florida. CHRISTOPHER DANIEL GAY escaped guards while he was being transported from a prison in Texas to one in Alabama on Sunday (21JAN07). He reportedly stole a pickup truck and drove it to Manchester, Tennessee, where he visited his mother in Pleasant View, before stealing Gayle's bus from a storage lot near Nashville. The singer was unaware the vehicle was missing. He drove the vehicle to the USA International Speedway in Lakeland, Florida, where he told authorities he was waiting for NASCAR driver TONY STEWART, on Thursday (25JAN07). As WENN went to press, Gay was still at large and the tour bus had still not been recovered.
