NONA GAYE - GAYE QUITS LAW AND ORDER

Actress NONA GAYE has quit NBC's drama LAW AND ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT after only a short spell on the show. It is believed the star's hasty exit was prompted by creative differences which surfaced soon into the programme's sixth season. Gaye, the daughter of late soul icon MARVIN GAYE, starred as the new assistant district attorney ADA on the show. She has been quickly replaced by THERESA RANDLE in her first major TV series after starring in the movies BAD BOYS, GIRL 6 and SPAWN.
