YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN - GARR'S DAUGHTER SAVED HER LIFE
YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN star TERI GARR owes her daughter her life after the teenager acted fast upon finding her mother
unconscious.
The actress had suffered a brain aneurysm 18 months ago (Dec06), and thanks to daughter Molly's quick thinking, medics
were able to treat her just time.
The Tootsie star, 63, recalls, "She called 911. They rushed me to the hospital. They drilled a hold in my head and wrapped a
coil around my brain so it wouldn't bleed anymore."
Garr, who also suffers from multiple sclerosis, spent a week in a coma and then two months learning to walk and speak again.
She credits her love of swimming for her recovery.
She adds, "I think that's the answer to keep everything moving."
