OASIS - GALLAGHER REVEALS WEALTH

OASIS rocker NOEL GALLAGHER accidentally let slip how much money he has banked in a recent interview - GBP14 million ($27.3 million). The WONDERWALL star admits the extreme financial rewards of making Oasis albums maintains his interest in making music. He says, "At the last count, I've got 14 million quid in the bank account - that keeps me interested. "By the way, if anyone's reading this - particularly the Inland Revenue - I haven't got 14 million in the bank... not in cash anyway." And Gallagher admits Oasis, who are currently out of contract, might not sign with a record label. He adds, "We could stay independent and instead of getting GBP1 for every record sold we could get GBP15, or whatever. "We'll see what happens. LIAM (GALLAGHER) is one of those guys who'd want the GBP80 million advance though, and to prance around like ROBBIE WILLIAMS in a furry Rolls-Royce."
