OASIS - GALLAGHER PROUD OF NEW FAMILY MAN IMAGE

OASIS frontman LIAM GALLAGHER is pleased to have finally shed his image as a hellraiser - because he's much happier receiving recognition as a family man. The singer earned himself a reputation as a troublemaker thanks to various outrageous antics during the height of the band's fame in the 1990s, but Gallagher insists he is now a much calmer person. He says, "People who've got any soul will realise there's a day when you go home, put your feet up and cuddle your kids. If anyone slags it off, they've either got no heart or they don't know what the meaning of life is. "They're going, 'You're the wild man of rock, you don't f**king care,' and when you do show a bit of caring, they call you a poof (gay)..." The 35-year-old has two sons and a daughter - 10-year-old Lennon, from his marriage to ex-wife Patsy Kensit; Molly, nine, with British singer Lisa Moorish, and six-year-old Gene with current girlfriend Nicole Appleton.
