OASIS rocker NOEL GALLAGHER has no time for environmental campaigners because they're "hippies" who don't understand the futility in trying to save the planet. THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING IDLE guitarist wishes people with 'green' politics would accept it's impossible to convince people to overhaul their lifestyles so dramatically. He says, "Greens are f**king hippies with no place in the world. "How do you suggest we get millions of Chinese not to have a fridge? Or get millions of Americans to stop using their big, stupid cars. "I haven't got a car so I'm doing my bit for the environment."
