GAINSBOURG QUITS 'SLIDING' SPORTS
Actress CHARLOTTE GAINSBOURG has vowed to never play any "sliding sports" again after suffering a brain haemorrhage following a water-skiing accident in August (07). The 36-year-old was operated on by a brain specialist in September (07), after suffering from headaches for several weeks after the accident. As Gainsbourg, who has since made a full recovery, has previously injured herself snowboarding. She has decided to quit similar sports. She says, "Two years ago, I broke a vertebrae doing snowboarding. So my entourage is saying, `Please stop sliding sports.' "I was going to go surfing, but I'm not sure now. I don't think I'm really made for that. Because I had this accident, I had to take it slowly. It's quite nice."
