FUNNYMAN WILLIAMS GETS GENEROUS WITH $100 BILLS

Comedian KATT WILLIAMS stunned fans at a recent stand-up show in Los Angeles when he handed out $100 (GBP50) bills to the audience - leaving him $29,000 (GBP14,500) out of pocket. The generous funnyman, 34, was entertaining fans at the Laugh Factory in Hollywood on Sunday (10Feb08) night when he brought out a briefcase stuffed full of cash before donating the money to his shocked crowd. Laugh Factory owner Jamie Masada explained how Williams wanted to show he had not forgotten his roots and gave out the large bills as a 'thank you' to his loyal fans. He adds, "You should have seen it. Some people were crying. They came to see the show and they got $100."
