FRIGHTENED HORSES STOP ROBBIE FROM PERFORMING IN DUBAI

ROBBIE WILLIAMS will never again be able to perform at a Dubai racecourse.

The British pop star has been banned from playing at the venue because his last concert there upset the thoroughbred racehorses owned by current ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, so much.

Robbie played at the course in April 2006 for a whopping £1 million, but according to the racing club, which hosts the world's richest series of horse races, the annual Dubai World Cup, this "must not happen ever again".

"The concert affected the horses' state of mind and their performance," said Dubai Racing Club chief Frank Gabriel.

"That will not and must not happen ever again."

Robbie rose to fame after leaving boy band TAKE THAT in 1995. He has gone on to receive several BRIT Awards and entered The Guinness Book of World Records for selling 1.6 million tickets in a single day just after he announced his World Tour in 2006.
