Movie veteran PETER FONDA insisted on having a water runner on the set of new western 3:10 TO YUMA in a bid to make sure he and his castmates were properly hydrated. The Easy Rider star admits the crewmembers went out of their way to make sure the cast was as comfortable as possible in the sweltering desert heat of the cowboy drama - but no one considered the ready supply of water on the set. Fonda says, "We didn't have running water on the set but we did have people running up with water. I insisted on that because it's the second most important fuel for the human body. "We were in the elements that were not far off from what people dealt with in the 1880s, when the film is set."
