FOLLOWILL SKIPPED VACATION FOR GLASTONBURY

KINGS OF LEON bass player JARED FOLLOWILL was forced to cancel a six-month beach holiday when the band was offered a prestigious festival headline spot.
The rockers had planned to take all of 2008 off after a gruelling schedule left them exhausted.
But they were offered the chance to play top of the bill at the U.K.'s Glastonbury Festival - so decided to record new album Only By The Night as well.
And Followill is glad of the chance to keep working - because he thinks the world could end in four years time.
He says, "I was going to the f**king beach. I was going to get surgery on my shoulder, then going to the beach for six months. The only beach I've been to was in Spain when we were playing at a festival!
"We'll sleep when we're dead I guess. According to my little brother, the end of the world is 2012. It's something to do with the Mayans and some calendar ending or something like that. He's a kind of paranoid kid!"
