FLEMING'S LETTERS TO BE AUCTIONED

Letters written by JAMES BOND author IAN FLEMING to his real-life MISS MONEYPENNY have been sold for $28,000 (GBP14,000) at auction - almost five times more than expected.
Fleming hired Jean Frampton to type his Bond manuscripts in the 1960s and often consulted her on narrative ideas.
The letters mention books including Thunderball, Live And Let Die and The Man With The Golden Gun.
They were auctioned by Duke's auction house in Dorset, England on Thursday (10Apr08).
