FLAMING LIPS - FLAMING LIPS HOST HALLOWEEN MARCH

Rockers THE FLAMING LIPS were joined by 1,000 fans on their annual hometown Halloween parade in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Saturday (27Oct07). The Ghouls Gone Wild procession saw fans marching through city streets dressed in black and white skeleton costumes, while carrying lit torches. Singer Wayne Coyne walked alongside fans in his trademark plastic clear bubble. He told the crowd, "I knew if we put this thing out there that we would get just the cream of the crop of Flaming Lips fans. Thank you guys for coming through for me once again." Oklahoma officials recently renamed a street in the city's Bricktown district Flaming Lips Alley in honour of their favourite sons.
