ADAM BEACH - FLAGS OF OUR FATHERS DRUNK HAS A MESSAGE FOR BOOZY DRIVERS

FLAGS OF OUR FATHERS star ADAM BEACH is so far removed from the drunken soldier he plays in CLINT EASTWOOD's new war epic - he's a fervent anti-drink driving campaigner.
The Canadian actor, who plays boozy Native American IRA HAYES in the movie, has always spoken out about irresponsible motorists because his pregnant mother was killed by a drunk driver when he was just eight years old.
He recalls, "My mom was hit by a drunk driver when she was eight months pregnant in front of my house, and then two months later my dad drowned just out of depression; he was going through a lot, and that changes your life forever.
"So I ask everybody, 'If you're drinking, drink responsibly, because it could change your life forever.'"
