FISCHER: 'I RIPPED OFF WITHERSPOON'
Actress JENNA FISCHER's performance in new comedy WALK HARD: THE DEWEY COX STORY is a "complete rip-off" of REESE WITHERSPOON's Oscar-winning turn in WALK THE LINE, according to the actress herself. Fischer plays a backing singer who tames John C. Reilly's wild rocker Dewey Cox in the mock rockumentary, a parody of the Johnny Cash biopic for which Witherspoon won a Best Actress Academy Award. And Fischer admits she didn't have to look far for her inspiration. She says, "It's a complete rip-off of Reese Witherspoon. I watched Walk The Line and just stole all her dance moves and her accent, but I don't sing. I took some voice lessons, but I couldn't pull it off."
