MARTIN SCORSESE - FERGIE + SCORSESE TEAM UP FOR YOUNG VICTORIA EPIC

Moviemaker MARTIN SCORSESE and the DUCHESS OF YORK, SARAH FERGUSON have become an unlikely movie couple after teaming up to make a biopic about QUEEN VICTORIA. Ferguson, a long time fan of the English monarch, pitched her idea for a movie about Victoria to THE DEPARTED producer GRAHAM KING, who put her in touch with Scorsese. Fergie will now produce the project, THE YOUNG VICTORIA, about the early life of the feisty queen, with King and Scorsese. Canadian moviemaker MARC VALLEE will direct the project from a script written by Oscar-winning screenwriter JULIAN FELLOWES.
